Overview on Urban Development Through Urban Planning Principles

Abstract


One of the main purposes of cities and townsis to create decent places for people to live, andif these not exist or are not affordable, the urbansystem is bound to suffer. Communities mustsatisfy not only the claims of their citizens or othergroups such as public interest defenders, businesscommunity in the area, services and productscompanies that work for community etc.; in theprocess of decision making it is necessary toknow the expectancies and preoccupations of thedifferent interested parties as well as to determinewhether and how they will have any influence instrategic decisions on the long run. These issuesgenerate new aspects in the large field of urbanregulations and urban law.
