The article entitled The Control of the Romanian Ombudsman over the Public Administration presents the attributions, functions and the way the Romanian Ombudsman succeed in controlling the activity of the public administration. The second part of the paper presents the actual activity of the Romanian Ombudsman during May 18th 1997 and December 31st 1998, because there is no availability for recent data. The article concludes with some recommendations for the success of the Romanian institution.
